Was born in 1956 in Chernihiv region, Ukraine.
1971 – 1974 – studied in Republican Art High School, Department of Sculpture.
1974 – 1980 – student of the Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of sculpture. The teachers: I.V.Mahogon, V.A. Chepelyk, V.V.Suchenko, V.V.Svetsov, V.Z.Boroday.
Since 1978 takes part in the Republican and all-republican art exhibitions.
1981 – 1985 – postgraduate student of creative workshops of the Academy of Arts of the USSR.
1983 – became a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists.
Since 1983 he has participated in international, All-Ukrainian art exhibitions, symposiums, conferences, auctions.
1985 – was awarded the diploma of the Academy of Arts of the USSR.
1999 – was awarded the title “Honored Artist of Ukraine”. In 2005 he was awarded the Diploma of the National rating “Brand of the Year 2005”.
2017 – was awarded the medal “For sacrifice and love to Ukraine”.
2017 – was awarded the title “People’s Artist of Ukraine”.
2018 – was awarded the Prize of Kyiv organisation of National Union of Artists of Ukraine «Mytets» named after M.V.Lysenko.
2018 – executed plaques for Ukrainian scientists Vernadsky and Zubets on the facade of the building of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
2020 – together with Olexandra Ruban, completed the restoration of the sculptures of Yuriy Ruban, “Bison” and “Lions” for a renovated entrance to the Kyiv Zoo.
Victor Lipovka is the author of more than 15 monumental sculptures and garden-park compositions.
The works are exhibited in 26 museums all over the world, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Russia, France, USA, Switzerland, UAE.
Victor works in the area of an easel and monumental sculpture. Preferred sculptural materials are bronze, granite, marble and wood.
