(1954 – 2010)
Alexander Kostetsky – one of the brightest representatives of a current визионизма. In its pictures other worlds completely not similar on terrestrial, in them only sometimes are presented there is a person – the observer.
1954 – Kiev was born in a family of artists.
The father – Vladimir Nikolaevich Kostetsky, the outstanding Ukrainian painter, the academician. Its works are stored in the National museum of Ukraine and in the Tretyakov gallery.
Mother – Galina Nikolaevna Novokreshenova, the sculptor, the author of monuments to Lev Tolstoi, Feodor Dostoevsky, Maxim Gorkomu (Moscow).
1975 – Alexander Kostetsky has ended the Kiev art school.
1979 – has ended the Kiev state art institute (nowadays National academy of the fine arts and architecture), masterful V.Shatalina.
In Soviet period was the participant «андеграундных displays». Travelled across Ukraine, caucasus and Asia.
1988 – has left in the USA where at once was generally recognised; has been noted by the press and television. Held exhibitions in New York, Washington, Philadelphia and other cities of the USA. Alexander’s ten works have been got for a museum of the modern art of Norton Dodge (Nju of Jersey).
Alexander Kostetsky has executed иконописные orders for four faiths of orthodox church in New York.
1992 – Alexander has returned to Kiev to Ukraine.
1998 – 2001 – Annual exhibitions in gallery “Yana”, Kiev
1998 – left the catalogue of its works. Has spent a number of exhibitions in Kiev.
2001 – repeatedly visited cultural-historical monuments of Egypt.
2003 – has been accepted in the Union of artists of Ukraine.
2007 – travelled across India and Nepal.
2010 – Alexander Kostetsky has died.
