Igor Ivanovich Gubsky was born 6/11/1954 of year in Kadievka of Voroshilovogradsky area (now Lugansk area).
1969-1973 study in Voroshilovogradsky (Lugansk) the state art school. Has received the diploma of the teacher of plotting and drawing in the senior classes.
1973-1979 Kiev state art institute (nowadays – National academy of the fine arts and architecture), picturesque faculty, Victor Puzyrkova’s workshop, the teacher – A.Plamenitsky.
With 1974 from the first courses in КГХИ, participates in group, city, republican and all-Union art exhibitions, from the middle 1980 and in the international art expositions.
1981-1984 postgraduate study, study in creative workshops at professor Sergey Grigoriev.
With 1983 member of the Union of artists of the USSR (now – the National Union of artists of Ukraine).
1987 personal exhibition in Kunstmuseum, Malmo, Sweden.
1990 participation in the auction auctions “Cristie’s”, «Philips». All presented works of the artist have been sold.
1999 – 2018 constantly operating exhibition in gallery “Yana”, Kiev.
2008 personal exhibition in gallery “Тадзио”, Kiev, Ukraine.
2009 personal exhibition in gallery “Person”, Kiev, Ukraine.
2009 participant of IV International exhibition-fair «Art-Kiev 2009».
2010 participant of an exhibition-fair «Art in your interior». A museum «Spiritual treasures of Ukraine».
2010 participant of the international festival «Fine Art Ukraine 2010», «Mistetsky the Arsenal», Kiev, Ukraine.
